Kohanna’s custom wedding gown is a a bright white mermaid style raschel lace background with Alencon lace appliqués on the skirt, sleeves and bodice. Her neckline is a high sweetheart shape with large scallops and her dress features beaded details on each appliqué. She also has a beaded lace sash in a light ivory to accent her natural waistline.
Also, Kohanna just happens to be my newest sister-in-law! Welcome to the family!!!
Whitney’s custom lace wedding dress features 3/4 length sleeves, a round neckline and pieced lace. Her seamed gown accentuates her curves with delicate floral Venise trim with alencon eyelash lace on her neckline as well as her fingertip length veil. I love doing gowns with knit linings. Seeing a bride be able to actually move in her gown is fun. Check out the photos of Whitney all curled up in that cozy chair. So awesome.
Erin’s custom bridal gown is a soft English net with a lace appliquéd bodice, round neckline with sweetheart seaming and natural waistline. Her flutter sleeves and softly draped skirt are pulled into an adjustable gathered back. Perfect for her beach wedding in Hawaii, and complemented with a fingertip length cut-edge veil.

Sydney ‘s custom wedding gown is a mermaid cut alencon lace, with a scalloped sweetheart neckline, elbow length sleeves and empire waist ruffle detail. Her veil is a soft ivory chiffon. and cap sleeves.
Kim’s custom wedding gown is a mermaid cut alencon lace, with a soft V-neck and cap sleeves. Her dress features subtle pearl bead work on the bodice front and back, extending onto the train.
Haley’s custom lace wedding gown is a floral Alencon with a dark ivory eyelet under layer. Her v-neck, short sleeve dress features a velvet ribbon, rhinestone buttons, and flower detail at the waistline.
I had a blast working with Haley, with her being a fellow Easterner.
She gets me in a way maybe some others don’t…

Caisa’s dress is a dark ivory Alencon over an ivory stretch charmeuse. V-neck, elbow length sleeves, with silk duppioni sash and pearl/rhinestone buttons. Her cut edge veil has hand stitched alencon lace appliques.
I have something fun that I can’t post for another week and a half, but here’s a little tiny peek….
Christy brought me her dress, wanting a few modifications. I changed her square neckline to a sweetheart neck, and added beaded alencon lace to build up into a queen-anne neckline. I also added buttons, and lace applique’s to the back of the hem, adding a train where there was none.
Remember this sneak peak? I don’t usually do sneak peaks, but I could hardly contain my excitement for this dress.
Carlene’s gown is a natural white colored alencon lace, with natural, unbleached cotton lining, english net ruffled godets and rhinestone and feather accents. Sweetheart neckline with eyelash lace, cap sleeves and a triple layered cut edge veil.
Ok. Prepare for a major gush-fest. I’m going to gush about these photos and this dress and Carlene. The photos are by Amada Peterson.
This first shot sent me over the edge! I don’t usually get to attend photo shoots for my clients with other photographers, but I had a chance to be there and make sure Carlene’s dress was perfect for the photos. No joke, Amanda was probably only two minutes into the photo shoot, and this shot happened.
It made my heart sing. Super cheese-ball, I know, but, really. This is so close to the vision I had in my head when Carlene and I designed her dress, it made me feel as if my heart would burst. She just looks so beautiful.
Her beadwork is full of rhinestones, feathers, buttons, pearls, seeds and sequins. My favorite part is the beautiful opacity on the silk-covered rhinestones. The contrasting silk duppion sash is pretty great too. Her dress was a complete textural wonderland!
